- Natural Attractions: The Mekong Delta’s endless expanse of lush green rice terraces have earned it the nickname “rice bowl” of Vietnam. Additionally, the delta is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, including rare bird species, floating markets, and thriving orchards.
- River Life: The Mekong River and its tributaries serve as the focal point of daily life in the Mekong Delta. Sampans, or conventional wooden boats, are common sights on the rivers and may carry both passengers and goods. While residing in stilted dwellings, many locals engage in farming, business, and fishing. A delta cruise is a fantastic chance to experience the way of life there.

The biggest and most well-known floating market in the area is Cai Rang in Can Tho.

Fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and vegetables are popular in the area. “Hu tieu” (a noodle soup), “banh xeo” (Vietnamese pancakes), and “ca kho to” (caramelized fish in a clay pot) are a few delicacies you just must taste.
